We’re excited to connect the best U.S. classroom teachers — over 100 standing by — with students from around the nation for online tutoring in Math, English, Science, Social Studies, Foreign Languages and more. Tutoring is an $8 billion industry in the U.S. and growing, and we think we can help make it better by building a product and business based on tutoring best practices developed by leading education experts. To encourage parents new to online tutoring to try WeTutor, we’re offering $100 of free tutoring to the first 250 parents to sign up during the month of April.
WeTutor is excited to announce that we will be an exhibitor at the 2009 NAIS Annual Conference in Chicago, February 25 to 27. The NAIS is an important WeTutor partner, supporting our efforts to follow tutoring best practices and to recruit the best teachers. We also want to announce that teachers who are registered attendees of the NAIS conference can participate in a special prize drawing. There are two ways to win:
1. Three $200 AmEx gift cards will be awarded on the last day of the conference. To be eligible for this drawing, you simply need to register with WeTutor and create a tutor profile for free before the close of the conference (scheduled to close at 2:30 p.m. on February 27).
2. One $500 AmEx gift card will be awarded on March 23. To be eligible for this drawing, you need to register with WeTutor and complete a tutoring sale by midnight on March 22.
