This Commission Policy (“Commission Policy”) was last modified on April 29, 2009.

This Commission Policy is part of the User Agreement between you and WeTutor. Unless otherwise provided, terms used herein have the same meanings given in the User Agreement.

For Parents
After a student completes a tutoring session, within five days, the parent must pay the tutor the agreed-upon fee using WeTutor’s payment feature. WeTutor does not charge parents any additional fee.

For Tutors
For sessions completed on or after May 15, 2009, WeTutor charges its tutors a commission equal to 18.9% of the Sale Price of each Sale. At or about the beginning of each month, for each tutor, WeTutor will display on the My Account section of the WeTutor Web Site an invoice for the commissions that the tutor owes for his or her Sales in the preceding month and in prior months (to the extent that the total commissions for Sales during such prior months was less than $1.00). WeTutor may also provide a tutor with an invoice via email. Tutors will need to pay WeTutor their invoiced commissions within 15 days of first being invoiced. The commission will not be applied towards any free session or referral fee promotion programs.
